Brunch fever

Blame it on brunch. It’s almost all that I seem to be doing every weekend, instead of finding fascinating materials for this blog.

Brunch is definitely one of the top 3 things I’ve missed when I was away (well actually it is top 1 but I can’t let my friends know that right?). For me, it embodies the perfect weekend of catching up with my favourite people over good food, good coffee and good vibes 🙂

I’d love to share some of my favourite things/places:

Pulled BBQ pork open sandwich with mint, lettuce salad and roasted pineapple sorbet – Birdman Eating (Melbourne)
Vegetarian stack with goats cheese, roast mushroom, avocado and spinach – Two Good Eggs (Sydney)
‘Goats on Toast’ warm goats cheese with drizzled honey and smashed walnuts on sour cherry toast – Two Good Eggs (as above)
Grilled fish burger – Cafe Giulia (Sydney)

Classic pork roll – Mr Crackles (Sydney)

‘Malawa’ savoury pancake with crushed tomatoes, feta and parsley – Tapeo (Sydney)

‘Ogre Happy Meal’ ox tongue, hashed potatoes, purĂ©ed cauliflower, pickled onion and a fried egg – Devon Cafe (Sydney) I know what you’re thinking…ox tongue for breakfast?!?

Don’t remember what it’s called, just remembered it’s amazing! – Bather’s Pavilion (Sydney)

Avocado, coriander and lime on sourdough – Reuben Hills (Sydney)

Tea, scones and assorted jams – The Tea Cosy (Sydney)
