Snapshots: Paris

I was in Paris for work for nine days during the selling campaign of MSGM (an Italian fashion brand). Besides bustling to and fro from the showroom and hotel, I did manage to go around the “City of Lights” after dark, as I believe that is when the magic of Paris truly comes alive.

Here are some of my favourite snapshots 🙂

Champs ÉlysĂ©es

View from L’hotel Particulier, a wonderful hidden location in Montmartre

Dries Van Noten showroom, eating the best hummus in the kitchen

Dining with my mother-in-law at Le Vaudeville. The seafood platter and the profiteroles were tres tres superbe!

Beautiful ornate door near l’OpĂ©ra

La PĂ©rouse – rumoured to be an ex-brothel

“…the six sumptuous parlours were hijacked from their original functions when, seeking a different type of privacy, the high society locked itself in with courtesans, cocottes and other filles de joie. Evolving into a sort of boudoir where fantasies of all persuasions were taking place. La PĂ©rouse became a gourmet cathedral where flesh were both eaten and caressed, kissed and cooked.” – Atlas Obscura

La Petite, the resident cat of one of the hotels in Marais

Flappy bird at night

And finally some day shots when we finished early!

Saint-HonorĂ©

Avenue Hoche   Sadly, I did not have any photos of MY ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE thing in Paris, which were the bread and butter served on every table. They were sooooooo delicious! Next time Paris, next time.
